PROPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to present at the 2011 National Black Graduate Student Conference, you must:
- Be a Member of NBGSA. To become a member, please visit www.nbgsa.org/membership.
- Submit an abstract of 150-200 words maximum (excluding title and author information) with a detailed description of the paper, poster, panel, or workshop presentation. The abstract should be in Compatible Microsoft Word or PDF format.
- If participating in the paper competition, submit a final draft of papers no later than March 3, 2012.

ROLLING SUBMISSION DEADLINE: APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT THEIR ABSTRACT JULY 15, 2011 – DECEMBER 15, 2011 BUT CAN EMAIL SUBMISSIONS UP UNTIL MARCH 3, 2012*
ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION FOR SUBMISSION: SUBMISSIONS WILL BE REVIEWED BIWEEKLY.
*You should receive confirmation of receipt within 72 hours of sending your proposal.
**Proposals submitted will be processed through a “rolling acceptance” system where notification will arrive no more than two weeks after receipt of abstracts or as late as March 3, 2012.
