Friday, March 16, 7:30am - 8:30pm
Scholar’s Day is an all-day event coordinated in conjunction with the 24th Annual National Black Graduate Student Conference (NBGSC). The NBGSC theme this year is “Claiming our Place in Uncommon Spaces.” We invite undergraduate Scholars from various graduate school track programs to include but not limited to Ronald E. McNair, Louis Stokes LAMP, and Summer Research Opportunity Programs from coast-to-coast to connect with graduate students from various colleges and universities across the country, representing a vast array of fields and disciplines and learn more about the Graduate School Experience. You do not have to be affiliated with a particular program in order to participate. Scholars will participate in graduate student-lead workshops, graduate and career fair, luncheon with graduate students and an inspirational keynote speaker, research poster presentation session, and a scholar send-off.
